The IGBO Fellowship Award is IGBO’s highest recognition honor. It is about the people in our cities who make a positive impact on our leagues, tournaments, and our local community at large. It is those people from our bowling communities who volunteer for pride events, charities and their fundraising events, help people in need, help their neighbors. It is about people who give their time and energy to make other people’s lives better.
The IGBO Fellowship Award is all encompassing and truly about Fellowship.
While many of our recipients are those noticeable in our local leagues, tournaments and IGBO itself, many others are those people behind the scenes, the “unsung heroes” who are there year after year, people who sometimes don’t want any recognition for their efforts beyond a simple “thank you.”
There are many people in our IGBO bowling communities who have made a positive impact in the lives of not only the bowlers in their cities but their community at large. Most of us know someone who deserves to be nominated. Last year we had 0 (zero) new nominations and there are so many worthy people in our local communities.
Do you have a person in mind? Please nominate them. You can let them know you’re nominating them. They will be your best source for information on what they have done that you may not know about. It is unfair to them to not at least recognize them with being nominated. Nominations stand for 3 years.

While the Tom Hack Award is nominated by the IGBO Board, you can use this form to submit your suggestion for nomination of a fellow IGBO member for the Tom Hack Award. Please be specific and give as much information as possible to describe why the nominee is deserving one of IGBO’s highest honors. For Tom Hack Awards to be presented at our IGBO Annual, you must submit your suggestions no later than December 31 of the prior year.
