Hello Bowlers,
As we begin another exciting season, I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating summer. Since the Denver Annual in May, IGBO has welcomed 6 new leagues and 1 new tournament as of September 8. This growth is energizing! It shows that our work is resonating and that more bowlers are finding their way into our community. Thank you to everyone who helps spread the word and strengthen IGBO everyday.
The fall tournament schedule kicked off with a bang over Labor Day weekend, with 3 outstanding events: ORBIT, Show Me and ELVIS. Congratulations to each of you! Your dedication ensured that bowlers had a fantastic experience, and I’m incredibly proud that you are part of IGBO.
My upcoming tournaments include Jersey Rainbow Classic, PSDIC, CHIT and Houston. I look forward to seeing many of you there. If your bowlers would like a Q&A session at any of these events, please reach out to your Regional Director. I’m available and happy to participate.
For the tournaments I won’t be able to attend — Chi-Town, Texas Super Slam, TART, MIC, RIOT, CINTIT, HINT and LASSI — let me say this clearly: I know the people running these events. They are dedicated, they care deeply about their bowlers, and they work tirelessly to ensure every participant is supported. Anyone attending these tournaments will be in excellent hands, and they have my sincere gratitude for everything they do. Congratulations to all of you!
Looking ahead, I’m thrilled to announce that in January, we will launch a new initiative designed to give even more back to our bowlers: Club IGBO. Members will earn points through participation and engagement in our leagues and tournaments. These points can be used to redeem merchandise and other items from a catalog currently in development. I’m very excited about this new way to celebrate and reward involvement across IGBO!
And in February … Stay Tuned!
In Unity, Fellowship and Communication,
Rob
