Bowl Local, Compete Global! November 1 – December 5, 2026
Get ready for some friendly competition and a chance to win cash prizes! The Fall 2026 IGBO Best 6 of 12 Tournament is back, giving bowlers across the country an opportunity to compete against one another without ever leaving their regular bowling leagues.
This popular fundraising tournament runs from November 1 through December 5, 2026, and participating is easy. Bowlers simply register, pay their entry fee, and record their scores during regular league competition. Of the 12 games bowled over four weeks, each participant’s best six games will be used to determine their tournament score.
Two Ways to Compete, More Chances to Win!
Bowlers can enter the Scratch division for $10, the Handicap division for $10, or both for just $20! Each bowler may enter once per division for each eligible league in which they participate.
Top scores will earn cash prizes, and proceeds from the tournament will help support two exciting upcoming IGBO events: IGBO’s 50th Anniversary celebration and the 2027 IGBO Annual Tournament in Kansas City.
New Submission Process Makes Participating Easier!
This fall, IGBO is introducing a new online submission process to streamline the collection of tournament entries, scores, and payments.
IGBO League Bowlers: Contact your league’s IGBO Representative to obtain an entry form. Complete the form and submit it along with your entry fees to your representative. Your IGBO Rep will track scores and submit the league’s tournament information and payments to IGBO through the new online process.
IGBO Associate Members: You’re invited to participate, too! Associates can register independently for each league in which they bowl, with one entry per division per league. Simply complete the online registration process, pay your entry fees, and have your league secretary verify your scores before submitting them.
Thanksgiving Scheduling Flexibility
To accommodate leagues that take a break for Thanksgiving, this fall’s tournament spans five calendar weeks, although only four weeks of bowling will count.
Leagues that do not bowl during Thanksgiving week may use the other four weeks. Leagues that bowl all five weeks must select either weeks 1 through 4 or weeks 2 through 5, in accordance with the tournament rules.
